Hey there - I am so glad you have stopped by!! Let me take a sec to introduce myself -
My name is Katie, owner and head stylist of Events Direct.
My aim is to provide a stressfree and simplified Event Styling experience, while working towards a more sustainable wedding and event industry. My team and I pride ourselves in designing events that include multi purpose styling items, high quality faux floral displays and the use of seasonal fresh flowers that are repurposed between Ceremony and Reception spaces. We also offer the option of eco-freindly biodegradable Sand Candle or LED real wax candles.
I love finding and repurposing unique items that can be upcycled into stunning new styling pieces.

A LITTLE ABOUT KATIE...
Passionate about helping people celebrate all things love (weddings are her jam) and special occassions, Katie has a wealth of experience and creative flair when it comes to organising and styling your next special event. This includes coordinating and managing Weddings (from secret elopements to 200 guest weddings), Corporate Events (Midori parties should totally make a comeback...) and week long conferences on Daydream Island and in Cape Tribulation. After taking time to have children, and spend some time in a teaching career, Katie has spent the last 4 years back in her area of passion - Events and Styling.

Based in Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast's Hinterland, Events Direct services all of the Sunshine Coast, north to Gympie, and south to Bribie Island, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We love a good road trip and will travel to the Fraser Coast, Scenic Rim and beyond on request.
